I am a Lecturer in English and Linguistics at Tharaka University, Kenya, where I also serve as Section Head for English and Linguistics. I hold a PhD in Linguistics and English Language from the University of Edinburgh. My research interests lie in Bantu linguistics, with a particular focus on the morphosyntax and information structure. I have ongoing projects on language documentation and community-based language revitalisation. I currently teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students and run community-oriented research projects.
